We specialize in helping families navigate their CDHCI funding to secure the highest level of care.
Serving Edmonton, Calgary, and surrounding areas as an Approved Vendor for Alberta Blue Cross & CDHCI.

When a loved one requires constant supervision—whether due to dementia, risk of falling, or complex medical needs—families often feel they have only two choices: exhaust themselves providing care, or move their loved one into a facility.
There is a third option. Compassion Network Home Care's Live-In Care service places a consistent, dedicated caregiver in your loved one’s home. They sleep there, eat there, and ensure safety is maintained day and night.
The Difference is Consistency. Unlike standard home care where you might see a rotating door of staff, Live-In Care provides a stable, familiar presence. Your loved one builds a relationship with one primary caregiver who knows their routine, their preferences, and their personality.
Navigating the Alberta Health Services (AHS) funding system, such as the Client Directed Home Care Invocing program (CDHCI), can be confusing. Families often feel restricted by their budget, forced to choose between safety and affordability.
Don't leave funding on the table. At Compassion Network Home Care, we specialize in Funding Optimization.
Live-In Care is not just for companionship. We are a clinical care provider equipped to support high-acuity medical needs in the home environment.
We are the preferred choice for families managing:
Step 1: The Funding Review
Before we commit to a schedule, we review your CDHCI agreement. We calculate exactly what your funding covers and provide a transparent quote for any private top-up.
Step 2: The Home Assessment
A Nurse visits your home to assess safety requirements, transfer protocols, and the living environment for the caregiver.
Step 3: The "Perfect Match" Selection
Living together requires chemistry. We select a primary caregiver based on clinical skills and personality fit.
Our Guarantee: If the connection isn't right in the first month, we will find a replacement.
Step 4: The Trial Period
We typically start with a 1-month trial period to ensure the routine works for your loved one and the caregiver before committing to a long-term arrangement.
1. Clinical Oversight
We are not a booking agency. Every Live-In Client is assigned a dedicated Nursing Care Manager who conducts regular home visits, updates the care plan, and liaises with your health team.
2. Reliability & Backup
The fear of a "No-Show" is real. We maintain a "Bench" of orientation-ready staff. If your primary caregiver is sick or needs vacation, we deploy a backup who has been briefed on your specific care plan. You are never left alone.
3. Direct Billing Convenience
We are an approved vendor for Alberta Blue Cross and can bill directly for eligible services. We handle the submission and paperwork so you don't have to chase reimbursements.
Live-In Care involves a caregiver sleeping in the home (requiring a private bedroom) and providing safety and support throughout the day and night. 24-Hour Hourly Care involves staff staying awake through the night in shifts. During your assessment, we will help you determine which model is safe for your loved one.
Let’s keep them where they belong—Home.
