Whether you are at risk of falling regularly, or just want to be more proactive about your safety, Compassion Network has partnered with Telus Health to offer you one of the most trusted safety devices available. With 3 different options, we are sure to meet your unique needs.
learn about devicesDriving can become more difficult as we age. The loss of a driver's license has a big impact on one's dignity, freedom, and quality of life. Furthermore, the lack of transportation options tailored towards seniors and those with disabilities is an emerging barrier in our communities.
We recognize these challenges faced by our clients. Although we do not offer transportation services, we do, on a case-by-case basis, assist or accompany our clients with outings to social and recreational activities, medical appointments, and dining out. This a small part of our caregiving and companionship focused services as transportation is not our strong suit. Instead, we do our best to refer our clients to services that are dedicated to assisted transportation. Some examples include:
Edmonton Area - Drive Happiness
Calgary Area - Calgary Seniors' Resource Society
If you are looking for transportation services, we encourage you to check out the above resources.
